The outer material of the Vakuum Lady Fit II Schmal is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

The Vakuum Lady Fit II Schmal contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, yet breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

MFS

The Vakuum Lady Fit II Schmal contains the Memory Foam System (MFS) developed by Meindl. This MFS is a kind of foam layer that is processed around the ankle part of the shoe.
