The Tramin Lady GTX is ideal for long walks. From walks in the woods to light hikes in the mountains, this hiking shoe is a real all-rounder. The Tramin GTX falls under the category A/B hiking boots. These shoes are slightly more flexible than category B hiking boots and somewhat firmer than category A hiking boots. Especially when you walk longer, but do not want to wear heavy shoes, the Tramin GTX an ideal option.

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Tramin Lady GTX is partly made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

The outer material of the Tramin Lady GTX is partly made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal skin. It has a velvety appearance and soft to the touch. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

GORE-TEX ®

The Tramin Lady GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that the Tramin Lady GTX shoes are waterproof, but still breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Comfort Fit®

The Tramin Lady GTX has a wide last. The wide last is suitable for people for whom the standard fit is too narrow in the front. The wide last has a normal width on the heel side, but is slightly wider on the forefoot side. This prevents annoying pressure points from developing in walkers with wider feet.

The Tramin Lady GTX has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

The by Meindl developed outsole gives and ensures good grip and stability while walking. THESE SOLES ensure a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it gives a good grip and does not retain sludge or soil.
