Material

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Nebraska is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal hide. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated. If you wax nubuck leather, it will become darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray containing wax, you treat this material in the best way.

Insole

The Nebraska has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

outsole

The Meindl developed outsole gives and provides good grip and stability while walking. The Magic Light Trail soles ensure a good settlement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it gives a good grip and does not hold any mud or soil. Thanks to the reinforcement in the midsole, the Magic Light Trail for good foot support.
