The Lipari Lady Comfort is suitable for walks in nature and in the city, but can also be used very well for daily activities. This women’s sandal falls under category A, which means that it is a light, supple sandal. The sandals are very comfortable to wear and are therefore ideal to wear while travelling.

The outer material of this sandal is made of nubuck leather and mesh. The sandal has a ventilating lining and is equipped with a Multi Trail outsole, which offers good grip on different surfaces.

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Lipari Lady Comfort is partly made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

mesh

The outside material of the Lipari is partly made of mesh. Mesh is a synthetic material that is made in different shapes. Due to the use of mesh, the sandal is light, flexible and the breathability is high.

Comfort fit®

The Lipari Lady Comfort has a wide last. The wide last is suitable for people for whom the standard fit is too narrow in the front. The wide last has a normal width on the heel side, but is slightly wider on the forefoot side. This prevents annoying pressure points from developing in walkers with wider feet.

The Lipari Lady Comfort has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

The by Meindl developed outsole gives and ensures good grip and stability while walking. The Multi Trail soles ensure a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it gives a good grip and does not retain sludge or soil. The special profile on the toe and heel side provides more grip during ascent and descent. The sole provides a very good grip on different surfaces and is provided with reinforcements in the midsole, which ensures good support for the feet.
