Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Lowa Toro Evo GTX Lo is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

GORE-TEX ®

The Lowa Toro Evo GTX Lo contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, yet breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Outsole
