The outer material of Lowa Renegade Work II GTX Mid men’s hiking shoe is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

Lowa Renegade Work II GTX Mid men’s hiking shoe contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, yet breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
