Here follows a good and reliable way to measure your back length in order to determine the right fit.

1. Find the bone in your neck

Bend your head forward slightly. Just below your neck, you will feel a small bone protruding slightly. That is your starting point.

2. Find your hip bone

Place your hands on your hips. The top of the hip bone, where there is a hard edge, is the second measuring point. You can put on a belt if necessary so that you know exactly where the hip bone is.

3. Use a measuring tape

Now place the end of the measuring tape on the bone in your neck. Let the tape fall straight down your back.

4. Measure to the hip

At the top of the hip (or where the belt is), hold your thumb against the measuring tape. That point is the bottom of the measurement.

5. Read the back length

Now you can bring the measuring tape forward and read how many centimeters there are between the bone in the neck and the hip. That number is your back length. With your backlength, you can determine the right fit.

The Deuter Guide Lite 24 liters is the ideal backpack to wear during alpine tours. You can easily take your walking sticks or ice ax with you thanks to the special attachment. The Deuter Guide Lite also contains 24 liters a helmet mount.

Thanks to the (detachable) hip belt, padded shoulder straps, sternum strap, UV-shaped frame and Aircomfort back net, the Deuter Guide Lite 24 liter is very comfortable to wear.

The various storage compartments provide enough space to store your essentials. In addition, the Deuter Guide Lite 24 liters is suitable for a drinking system.

Including rain cover, SOS label and signal whistle.

This backpack is produced without the use of environmentally hazardous fluorocarbons (PFCs). The use of PFCs in the textile finishing ensures that clothing becomes water, dirt and grease repellent. In this backpack an alternative finish has been used without the use of PFCs. This makes the product water and dirt repellent.

This backpack has the Aircomfort system. This system consists of an elastic spring steel frame that is flexible and break-resistant. With this frame, the Aircomfort net is tensioned and a ventilation space is created between the backpack and the back. This allows humid and warm air to escape unimpeded on three sides. The Aircomfort mesh back system is extremely resilient and permanently elastic. As a result, it always returns to its original shape after deformation. In addition, this patented ventilation system from Deuter ensures about 25% less moisture loss and therefore contributes to better performance.
