The Woolpower Kids Crewneck 200 is a thermal shirt for kids that absorbs moisture, keeping the skin dry. In addition, the shirt retains air and body heat, keeping you warm even in wet conditions. This is possible because the wool yarns are woven into a loop-worm on the inside, which creates insulating properties. It also protects against unpleasant odors in this way and sweat is transported to the outside of the shirt after which it evaporates. At the back, the Crewneck 200 is slightly longer, this way your back is extra protected in cold weather conditions. Finally, the Woolpower Kids Crewneck envelops the body well, allowing your child to move freely.
Merino wool has the advantage that unpleasant odors do not linger. So it is not necessary to wash the clothes, even for a first use. Woolpower even recommends simply airing the clothing. If you still want to wash the clothes, you can do so with special wool detergent. You can then wash the clothes even at 60℃. This is because the wool is first treated in the “superwash,” creating a pre-shrinkage.Product Features

Materials
Merino wool
Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is widely known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. About ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as an average sheep. As a result, the wool is thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations of -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their fur acts as a heat regulator. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold but breathes well. In addition, merino wool has excellent moisture management and self-cleaning properties, so you won’t easily suffer from perspiration marks and odors on your clothing.
Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that is soft to the touch. In addition, it is lightweight, does not require ironing and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well and is not very warm.
Polyamide
Polyamide, also known as nylon, is a synthetic material made from petroleum. Polyamide is a strong fabric that does not tear and wrinkle easily. It is light, elastic, easy to fold and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyamide is that it does not absorb moisture well.
Elastane
Elastane is a synthetic fiber that is exceptionally elastic. Its great stretchability, but at the same time its sturdiness sets it apart from other synthetic fabrics. For example, it is stronger and more durable than rubber, but also much lighter. Elastane is very lightweight, making it great for when you are doing activities. In fact, elastane also offers plenty of room to move because it is so elastic without losing its fit.
