The Crewneck LITE from Woolpower is an elastic thermal shirt, ideal for wearing as an under layer. Because this unisex thermo shirt is made of merino wool, it is very insulating, but on top of this it is also odor-resistant, quick-drying and wicks away moisture quickly. The seams along the length of the shirt are placed further back for optimal comfort. In addition, the back of the shirt is longer to prevent a cold back. In short, this thermal shirt will keep you wonderfully warm during the colder days!

Merino wool has the advantage that unpleasant odors do not linger. So it is not necessary to wash the clothes, even for a first use. Woolpower even recommends simply airing the clothing. If you still want to wash the clothes, you can do so with special wool detergent. You can then wash the clothes even at 60℃. This is because the wool is first treated in the “superwash,” creating a pre-shrinkage.

Merino wool

Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is widely known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. About ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as an average sheep. As a result, the wool is thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with wide temperature variations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their fur acts as a heat regulator. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold but breathes well. In addition, merino wool has excellent moisture management and self-cleaning properties, so you won’t easily suffer from perspiration marks and odors on your clothing.

Size advice

Woolpower’s clothing is mostly unisex and falls generously for both women and men. Moreover, it may become slightly wider during wear. The insulating properties of Woolpower garments are at their best when they fit to the skin. Therefore, for at least ladies, it is advised to take one size smaller.
