The Silva Trail Speed 5R is the ideal headlamp for the avid athlete. The R stands for Run, making this the ideal headlamp for running. The battery and lamp together weigh only 171 grams.
The Trail Speed 5R is powered by a lightweight, flexible 2.0 Ah (14.8 Wh) rechargeable battery. The battery lasts 10 hours on the lowest setting, 6 hours on the medium setting and 3 hours on the highest setting. The battery automatically goes into saving mode when the battery is almost empty so that you still have 30 minutes of light guaranteed. The lamp is also equipped with Silva Intelligent Light, which optimizes the light pattern through a unique combination of a focused high-beam beam that shines into the distance and a wide-angle beam that shines up close. The result is less head movement and a clear view of potential obstacles at both short and long distances, enhancing balance and safety and helping to maximize speed and performance.
