Salomon X Ward Leather GTX women’s shoe

The Salomon X Ward Leather GTX is a low walking shoe that has class A. The shoe has a multi-grip sole which provides optimal grip during both ascents and descents. The upper of the shoe is made of leather and textile. The shoe has a rubber outsole and a fabric lining and insole. The shoe is GORE-TEX, which means it is waterproof. The shoes are lightweight at 335 grams (per pair).

Insoles

The Salomon X Ward Leather GTX has a removable Salomon insole. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Quicklace™ system

Thanks to the Quicklace™ system you don’t have to lace and tie laces when you put on the Salomon X Ward Leather GTX. The system consists of a lacing cord that goes through all the eyelets and a stopper. The ends of the lacing cord are connected together. When you pull the ‘stopper’ down, the shoe tightens evenly. If the lace cord breaks, you do not have to throw away Salomon X Ward Leather GTX immediately. We also sell Salomon’s Quicklace™ system separately in the store and on the website .

Inner material and lining

The insole and lining of the Salomon X Ward Leather GTX are made of mesh. Mesh is a synthetic material that is made in different shapes. The use of mesh makes the shoe light, flexible and highly breathable.

GORE- TEX®

The Salomon X Ward Leather GTX contains a GORE- TEX® membrane. The GORE-TEX® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but remain breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
