As a mid-weight stretch fleece, our Women’s Geon Hoody offers mountain insulation for easy layering, but also the ideal ‘active mountain’ combination of movement, breathability and insulation. The Geon Hoody is made of hydrophobic Thermic™ stretch fleece with integrated elastane for excellent comfort. Other key features of the Geon Hoody include a low profile under helmet hood with soft chin guard for draft free insulation. They also feature a full-length YKK® front zip for flexible ventilation, plus a pair of secure zipped hand pockets.

While the Women’s Geon Hoody is great as a layer of insulation for high winter temperatures, it’s just as practical as a quick heat source for early summer, spontaneous rest periods and a casual night out.

Polyester

Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well and is not very warm.

Elastane

Elastane is a synthetic fiber that is exceptionally elastic. Due to its great stretch, but at the same time its sturdiness, it distinguishes itself from other synthetic fabrics. For example, it is stronger and more durable than rubber, but also much lighter. Elastane is very lightweight and is therefore very suitable when you are going to do activities. Elastane also offers a lot of room to move because it is so elastic, without losing the fit.
