Description

The Osprey Talon 36 is ideal for night treks and light mountaineering. An injection-molded AirScape™ backpanel and a full-length wrap-around harness and hipbelt keep the pack moving with you, even in demanding terrain. This backpack has a main compartment that you can fill from the top, side pockets in stretch mesh, space for a drinking water reservoir and attachment points for trekking poles and ice axes. Made from high-quality bluesign®-approved high-strength recycled nylon with a PFC-free DWR coating.

AirScape™ suspension
An AirScape™ injection molded foam back panel provides a breathable fit that sits close to the body. A flexible BioStretch harness and waistbelt, with a continuous lumbar-to-hipbelt wrap, allows for dynamic movement.

Recycled nylon (polyamide)

Nylon, also called polyamide, is a synthetic material that is made from petroleum. Nylon is a strong fabric that does not tear and crease easily. It is light, elastic, easy to fold and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyamide is that it does not absorb moisture well. Unfortunately, nylon is not biodegradable, but it is recyclable. With proper use and maintenance of the product, it will last longer, making the product sustainable in the long term. Recycled nylon is therefore a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative.
