Description
The knife is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel, this steel is completely rust-free thanks to an addition of chrome. The blade is sharpened in an exclusive convex profile, this profile guarantees a strong blade and allows easy and efficient re-sharpening.
The handle is made of French oak. This is a hard wood, which makes it resistant to insects and fungi.
Opinel guarantees extra safety thanks to the Virobloc safety ring. The ring is a stainless steel turning system that prevents your knife from opening when you are not using the knife. The ring is located between the handle and the blade and, like the blade, is made of stainless steel.
