The Crewneck Singlet is a women’s top from Odlo. This top is ideal for walking and running. Because this top is partly made of merino wool, it is breathable, moisture-regulating and odor-resistant. It is also temperature-regulating and quick-drying. Furthermore, this top feels very soft on the skin and does not sting. This ensures that the top is comfortable to use.

Materials

TENCEL™

Tencel is actually the same substance as lyocell. It is the registered brand name of the Swiss company Lenzing for lyocell. The fiber comes from wood chips from eucalyptus trees. By using chemicals, the wood chips can be converted into a fiber. Tencel feels soft and is strong at the same time. In addition, it dries quickly, is breathable and absorbs moisture well.

Tencel is biodegradable and has an EU Ecolabel. This is a European quality mark which indicates that the material has been produced with a lower environmental impact. The wood used comes from a responsibly managed forest with a PEFC™ and FSC® quality mark. The production itself takes place via a closed system. This means that the water and chemicals required for the production process are almost completely reused.

Merino wool

Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is generally known for its high quality. Merino sheep have many more hairs than other sheep. Approximately ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as in an average sheep. This makes the wool thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC . Their fur has a heat-regulating effect. This means that merino wool keeps you warm in the cold, but breathes well. In addition, merino wool has an excellent moisture-regulating and self-cleaning effect, so you will not easily suffer from perspiration stains and odors on your clothing.
