The outer material of the Meindl Brixen Identity men’s walking shoe is made of full grain leather. Full grain leather comes from the top layer of animal skin. Its thickness makes it a very strong and durable type of leather.
GORE- TEX®
The Meindl Brixen Identity men’s hiking shoe contains a GORE- TEX® membrane. The GORE-TEX® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but remain breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
Meindl Identity
The Meindl Brixen Identity men’s walking shoe is part of Meindl’s Identity series. This means that the shoe has been produced sustainably. For the Identity series, Meindl works with organic farms and with the German tannery Heinen, which invests part of their profits in reforestation. Each shoe from the Identity series is numbered with a unique code. If you enter the code on the Meindl website you can see exactly where the leather of your shoe comes from.
Insole:
The Meindl Brixen Identity men’s walking shoe has a removable Meindl insole. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.
Outsole:
The outsole developed by Meindl provides good grip and stability while walking. These soles ensure good movement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip and does not retain mud or soil.
