The instructions for these Sharpening Stones are as follows:

• Hold the knife against the stone. Use 1 hand to hold the knife so that the blade is at a 10 to 20 degree angle to the sharpening stone
• Swipe 1 side of the blade over the stone
• Turn the blade up and sharpen the other side
• Carefully test the sharpness of the blade
• Clean the blade and stone
