The FjallRaven Sörmland Tapered Winter are insulating women’s trousers. These trousers have tapered legs and are therefore ideal to wear with high boots. However, these pants are also ideal to wear while walking. The trousers are made entirely of G-1000 Silent Eco, which makes the trousers windproof and water-repellent. Materials
G-1000 Silent Eco
G-1000 Silent Eco is a unique fabric specially developed by Fjällräven. The fabric is made from a combination of 65% polyester and 35% cotton and is impregnated with Greenland Wax. This combination ensures that G-1000 is exceptionally durable, highly breathable, wind-repellent and water-repellent. In addition, G-1000 is mosquito-proof and offers almost 100% protection against UV. G-1000 can be maintained with Greenland Wax.
Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well and is not very warm.
Cotton
