Description

The Övik Fleece Hoodie is a warm and comfortable fleece jacket that functions ideally as an insulating midlayer under a shell jacket on autumn or winter adventures. The jacket has a knitted outside and a soft, brushed inside, and features a fixed hood that can be adjusted with a drawstring. Material

G-1000

G-1000 is a unique fabric specially developed by Fjällräven. The fabric is made from a combination of 65% polyester and 35% cotton and is impregnated with Greenland Wax. This combination ensures that G-1000 is exceptionally durable, highly breathable, wind and water resistant. In addition, G-1000 is mosquito-proof and offers almost 100% protection against UV. G-1000 can be maintained with Greenland Wax.

Recycled Polyester

Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well, is not very warm and does not breathe very well. Polyester is also, like many other materials, harmful to the environment. It is not biodegradable and contributes to the plastic soup in the ocean. However, polyester can be recycled very well. The use of recycled polyester reduces both waste and the dependence on petroleum as a source. Recycled polyester is therefore a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative.
