G-1000
G-1000 is a unique fabric specially developed by Fjällräven. The fabric is made from a combination of 65% polyester and 35% cotton and is impregnated with Greenland Wax. This combination ensures that G-1000 is exceptionally durable, highly breathable, wind and water resistant. In addition, G-1000 is mosquito-proof and offers almost 100% protection against UV. G-1000 can be maintained with Greenland Wax.
Polyamide (nylon)
Polyamide, also known as nylon, is a synthetic material made from petroleum. Polyamide is a strong fabric that does not tear and crease easily. It is light, elastic, easy to fold and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyamide is that it does not absorb moisture well.
