Description

This Koster Sweater men’s sweater is perfect for the cold winter months. The soft and comfortable lambswool offers ideal protection against the cold and keeps you very warm. The sweater is reinforced with the G-1000 outdoor material from Fjällräven, the reinforcements are applied in places where the sweater would normally wear out quickly the elbows and shoulders.

The Koster has a high collar and a short zipper. Furthermore, the sweater has a breast pocket where small items can easily be stored. Due to the warmth of the sweater, it is very suitable as a layer during a long walk or, for example, hunting.

G-1000 material

G-1000 is a fabric developed by FjällRäven itself. It’s a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are woven closely together. This fabric was then treated with Greenland Wax. This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

• Durable: G-1000 fabric from FjällRäven is very durable and therefore long-lasting. In addition, it is lightweight.

• Water repellent: Thanks to the Greenland Wax, clothing with G-1000 can withstand short rain showers or moisture. In addition, it is quick-drying.

• Windproof: FjällRäven clothing with G-1000 is almost completely windproof. If you impregnate it with Greenland Wax, you are completely protected against wind.

• Breathability: An important property of G-1000 is high breathability. This means that your body stays nice and dry, even during strenuous activities.

• UV protection: Thanks to G-1000 you are almost completely protected from the sun’s rays, reducing the risk of burns.

• Mosquito-Proof: The tightly woven fabrics keep mosquitoes and other flying insects away. Ideal if you are in the mountains, the forest or in a warm climate. Note: G-1000 Lite is not mosquito proof.
