Description

The Keb Eco-Shell jacket is a technical jacket, made from Fjallraven’s own Eco-shell 3-layer Stretch. This material consists of 100% recycled polyester and is impregnated PFC-free. What makes Eco-Shell so special is that, unlike many other waterproof materials, it is very durable and does not use harmful chemicals.
The material also gives the jacket a number of practical properties. First of all, the jacket has a high water column and is therefore resistant to both heavy rain and wet snow. Despite the high water column, the jacket also has a high breathability so that perspiration can easily escape.

The Keb Eco-Shell has a normal fit with plenty of freedom of movement. The jacket has a nicely fitted hood with room for a helmet. The hood is adjustable so that it can provide good protection without restricting vision or movement. There are various pockets spread throughout the jacket, such as two spacious pockets on the chest with zippers on the side, so the pockets are always accessible, even when you wear a climbing harness or backpack with a hip belt. The chest pockets contain an extra mesh inner pocket to keep smaller items such as a phone or keys in place. Both the ventilation zippers and the front zipper are water-repellent two-way zippers.

Maintenance instructions

For optimal lifespan of the jacket, it is recommended to wash the jacket separately and not to use fabric softener. Preference is given to a detergent without enzymes. To maintain the waterproof effect, it is important that the jacket is treated with an impregnation agent after washing (for example Fjallraven’s own PFC-free Eco Impregnation ).
