Recycled Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well, is not very warm and does not breathe very well. Polyester is also, like many other materials, harmful to the environment. It is not biodegradable and contributes to the plastic soup in the ocean. However, polyester can be recycled very well.
