This CarePlus Water Filter Evo ensures that clean and pure drinking water is available to you everywhere. Your water is purified through two filters; a hollow microfiber filter and a replaceable carbon filter. The microfiber filter’s function is to actually stop small harmful bacteria. The carbon filter is more applicable to separating chemicals. The second function of the carbon filter is to improve the taste of the water. The microfiber filter technology used here is derived from the technolgy involving medical dialysis. The pores in the microfiber filter are 0.1 microns in diameter. 99.9% of bacteria, parasites and microplastics are stopped by this filter. These water filters do require some maintenance. This specifically involves cleaning the parts so that pathogens cannot accumulate and thus block the flow. CarePlus has also developed a water disinfectant that you can use to clean the water. This link will take you to that article. You can then use the cleaned water to keep your water filter clean. This water filter also comes with a drinking bag. It has a weight of 110 grams and a diameter of 4.5 cm. This drinking bag has a capacity of three liters. The water you want to clean should fall within a temperature range of 0-32 water.
