Rucksacks and backpacks come in many different shapes and sizes, each suitable for different activities. The smaller backpacks (up to 20 liters, 21-40 liters) are more suitable for daily use, cycling, days out or a short trip. The large backpacks (41-60 liters, above 61 liters), often also called backpacks, are suitable for long journeys or long trekking trips (backpacking).
