The Zamberlan Hike Lite GTX RR is a lightweight men’s hiking shoe that is very suitable for hiking on beaten paths or for everyday use. This walking shoe falls under category A walking shoes, which means that it is a light, flexible shoe. The shoes are very comfortable to wear and are therefore ideal to wear while travelling.

The upper material is made of suede with Hydroboc® treatment, and has a Gore-Tex lining, which ensures that the shoe is breathable and waterproof. The Vibram® Pillow outsole provides a lot of grip on different surfaces. In addition, these hiking boots are provided with extra protection on the nose, the so-called Rubber Reinforcement. This technology offers extra protection against stones and debris, for example.

The outer material of the Zamberlan Hike Lite GTX RR is made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal skin. It has a velvety appearance and soft to the touch. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

GORE-TEX ®

The Zamberlan Hike LIte GTX RR contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, yet breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

The Hike Lite GTX RR has a removable insole from Zamberlan. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

Like many hiking boots, the Zamberlan Hike Lite GTX RR a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. These soles ensure a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain sludge and soil. Because Vibram soles are wear-resistant, they last longer than other soles.

These walking shoes are the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been a wallker all my life and in retirement more so. I’m female with a long narrow foot so take a men’s size. They are perfect.Waterproof, comfortable and smart looking when new – I always have a best pair to look decent when needed.They seem to be relatively hard wearing, main wear is at the inside on the heal.The grip is good and they stay waterproof till worn out when they are relegated to gardening shoes.I’ve always been happy with this shoe and have a friend who has worn them for years too.
