Materials

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Meindl Innsbruck II GTX is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal hide. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated. If you wax nubuck leather, it will become darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray containing wax, you treat this material in the best way.

GORE- TEX®

The Meindl Innsbruck II GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but remain breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Insole

The Meindl Innsbruck II GTX has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.
