The Bucket Hat is made from Fjallraven’s own G-1000 Air and G-1000 Stretch. The G-1000 Air makes the hat quick-drying and provides high breathability. The stretch material ensures that the hat also fits comfortably for a longer period of time.
The G-1000 Air has not been treated with wax during production, and is therefore not water-repellent. If you do want to use the hat in wetter conditions, it is possible to treat it with Greenland Wax .

G-1000 Air
G-1000 Air is a unique fabric specially developed by Fjällräven. The fabric is made from a combination of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. This combination ensures that G-1000 is exceptionally durable and highly breathable. In addition, G-1000 offers almost 100% protection against UV. G-1000 Air can be treated with Greenland Wax. Waxing the trousers makes the fabric more wind and water resistant. Waxing also ensures that the fabric becomes heavier and less breathable.
